1984 Star Award Banquet Set - Summary
This is an awesome set that showcases the top players from the 1983-84 NBA Season. Cards range from an MVP Award card for Larry Bird, to a 'Pivotal Player Of The Year' card for Magic Johnson. There are also cards which showcase multiple players--#10 Statistical Leaders #1 card (shown below) is one example. Card backs feature either a writeup on the player, or in the case of stat leader cards, more information as to the statistics (as also shown on the back of card #10 below).
The two Larry Bird and Magic cards from the set tend to have the most value. Note that due to distribution at the NBA Award Banquet in 1984, the set saw fairly limited distribution and production.
