1984 Star Award Banquet Set – Summary
This awesome set showcases the top players from the 1983-84 NBA Season. Cards range from an MVP Award card for Larry Bird to a ‘Pivotal Player Of The Year’ card for Magic Johnson. Some cards showcase multiple players–#10 Statistical Leaders #1 card (shown below) is one example.
Card backs feature either a writeup on the player or, in the case of stat leader cards, more information about the statistics (as shown on the back of card #10 below).
The two Larry Bird and Magic cards from the set tend to have the most value. Note that due to distribution at the NBA Award Banquet in 1984, the set saw fairly limited distribution and production.
