1984-85 Star LA Lakers Arena Set – Summary
As with other Arena sets, the set was handed out at local arenas, in the case of the Lakers, at the LA Forum during the 84-85 NBA season.
Here’s a full poly bag for the 1984-85 Lakers set. The first card features Kareem with his patented alley-oop over Jeff Ruland of the Bullets. Could the shorts get any shorter? 🙂
As with all other Star Arena sets, the backs of the cards are a bit plainer than typical Star fashion, with no stat line and a very simplified biography. Here’s the back of the team bag, which shows the last card of #10 Kareem, which is a ‘League Leaders’ card.
