1985-86 Star Franz Blazers Set – Summary

This is the second Star set produced in conjunction with Portland-based bakery Franz. One card was issued in a loaf of Franz bread, while bagged sets could also be purchased. Both Franz bread issues have a Drexler card, yet many collectors sometimes confuse the two due to the similar photo. Note that the 1985-86 card is less valuable and clearly says ‘1986 Collector’s Issue’ on the top of the card. I often see the two mislabeled on eBay.

The set also features the rookie card for Blazers star Terry Porter. The card is inexpensive and can often cost less than $10.
